My years of primary school art experience made sure to throw away such model conventions such as "beauty" and "realism". Instead focusing on the nuance of abstract strokes and use of negative space to allow the viewer to "see" what they want to "see" and take what they want from my sculpture. A true homage to Picasso and Dali.
This was really a fond time of mine in my childhood. This, the Y2K celebrations, that singing thing we did with Suzanne Prentice and the cereal boxes. All left me with a wonderful dreamlike memory of Gisborne. Thanks for the times xx
